The hotel is in Yanahuara, a charming & unassuming rural community about 90 km. (56 miles) northwest of Cusco. The hotel is about a quarter mile (500 m.) off the main road that runs through the valley and lies between Urubamba, the town with the most services in the valley, and Ollantaytambo, the ancient Inca stronghold.

From Cusco by taxi, the trip takes about an hour via Chinchero, and 90 minutes via Pisac. Slower buses and combis (vans) also cover the route. The hotel is just 10 minutes from the train station in Ollantaytambo (trains run from Cusco and Machu Picchu).

Casa Andina can arrange all transfers from Cusco (with pickup at the airport or any hotel) as well as from Ollantaytambo (either by taxi or Casa Andina’s private vans).
