Terms of Agreement

CASA ANDINA: Provider of accommodation services.

CLIENTE: Passenger (of legal age) that takes on CASA ANDINA services.

CHECK–IN: Customer’s check-in process into the hotel before entering the room.

CHECK-OUT: Customer’s check-out process at the time when Customer stops using the services of the hotel.

NO-SHOW: Situation where Customer doesn’t show up at the hotel before 23:59 on the day of arrival, without prior communication by Customer.

RESERVATION: Agreement between Casa Andina and Customer to reserve room(s) on the dates requested by Customer at any of CASA ANDINA’s hotels.

SERVICES CHARGE: 10% surcharge for consumption for services provided by Casa Andina.

GENERAL SALES TAX (IGV): Tax corresponding to 18% of the rate.

General Conditions

Customer when making the reservation through Casa Andina’s website declares to have been informed and/or had access to the content of the “Frequently Asked Questions” section posted on Casa Andina’s website: http://www.casa-andina.com/. These are part of the terms of this agreement. Customer also unconditionally accepts the following terms and conditions.

No agent, server, representative or third person has the power or competence to modify, restrict or extend the terms of this agreement.

The terms and conditions in this document apply to all hotels that belong to the CASA ANDINA chain. These terms are an agreement between Customer and Nessus Hoteles Peru S.A. or Nessus Hoteles Peru Selva S.A. and goods and/or services shall be directly delivered by Nessus Hoteles Peru S.A. or Nessus Hoteles Peru Selva S.A. The company that finally invoices and provides the service shall depend on the hotel where Customer has booked:

Conditions to Make Reservations Through www.casaandina.com/h3>

Rates shown in the first step of the purchase process are net rates. They do not include Sales Tax or Services charges. In the last step of the purchase process only the services charges are added, but the Sales Tax, if applicable, shall always be paid at the hotel reception desk.

Rates are expressed per night/room, not per guest. The cost of additional beds in rooms depends on the availability of space in the rooms and the availability of beds in the hotel. For more information contact: reservasonline@casa-andina.com.

Cancellation Policy

  • Flexible: It is possible to modify or cancel reservations until 48 hours before check-in (Peruvian time) without additional charges.
  • Non Refundable: Prepaid reservations, no modifications, cancellations, transfers or refunds are accepted.
  • The No-Show penalty corresponds to the total amount of the stay.
  • All rates shall be charged in US Dollars (US$). And the proof of purchase will be issued in US dollars.
  • Confirmation of the reservation will be made within a maximum of 24 hours after the reservation has been made.
  • In the case of reservations with prepaid conditions, charging the entire stay to the Customer’s credit card will be made in the next 24 hours after the reservation has been generated.
  • In the case of reservations that do not have prepaid conditions, Casa Andina has the right to verify the credit card through pre- authorization.
  • The website (www.casa-andina.com) does not accept debit cards. In case of entering a Debit Card number, the reservation would be canceled, without previous warning.
  • In case the credit card shows the messages: “denied”, “stolen”, “insufficient funds”, “due date“, the reservation shall be canceled, without prior notice.
  • Casa Andina reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations in cases where Customer is deemed to have engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity.
  • In case of error and/or duplication in the reservation made by Customer, Casa Andina will not be held responsible for this fact and will apply the penalty according to the reservation policy.
  • In case of group reservations of more than 5 rooms Casa Andina reserves the right to apply policies and special terms.

Conditions for the Check-in and the Check-out Process

  • It is prohibited to enter the hotels with food, except due to medical restrictions.
  • Customers are requested to submit the identity card of all occupants of the room.
  • To be exempted from the General Sales Tax (IGV), it is essential to present: Customer’s passport and Customer’s Andean Immigration Card with a date on the entry stamp that shows that Customer has not been in Peru no longer than 60 days.
  • In case the guest wishes to enter with guests to his room, it is indispensable that they be duly identified and registered by means of the identity document.
  • Check-in and Check–out times vary according to the hotel where Customer made the reservation:

  • Any request for Early Check-in and/or Late Check-out is subject to an additional charge and must be requested through email to: reservasonline@casa-andina.com or directly at the hotel (subject to availability).
  • It is indispensable to present a CREDIT CARD at check-in time to guarantee accommodation and extras during your stay. This CREDIT CARD will be subject to pre-authorization.

Conditions for Staying at the Hotel

  • There is a free shared shuttle service in Arequipa (city), Cusco (city), Pucallpa, Trujillo, and Chiclayo at pre-arranged times. In order to coordinate transfers, Customers must communicate with each of the reception desks with at least 48 hours in advance on entering the hotel. In Cusco, the service is exclusively for reservations through www.casa-andina.com.
  • We have Airport-Hotel-Airport transfers with private providers for an extra charge.
  • Up to one (1) child (under 12 years old) sharing the room with two adults at no extra charge is allowed. The child’s breakfast is not included in the room rate and must be charged to the room.
  • Additional breakfasts will be charged as follows:Standard:
    • Children of 0 to 7 years of age will not be charged.
    • Children of 8 to 12 years of age will be charged the children’s rate: US$3.13
    • Children 13 and older will be charged the adult rate: US$6.25
    • * Prices do not include sales taxes (18%) or services charges (10%).

    Select:

    • Children of 0 to 7 years of age will not be charged.
    • Children of 8 to 12 years of age will be charged the children’s rate: US$4.69
    • Children 13 and older will be charged the adult rate: US$9.38
    • * Prices do not include sales taxes (18%) or services charges (10%).

    Premium:

    • Children of 0 to 7 years of age will not be charged.
    • Children of 8 to 12 years of age will be charged the children’s rate: US$6.25
    • Children 13 and older will be charged the adult rate: US$12.50
    • * Prices do not include sales taxes (18%) or services charges (10%).

    Casa Andina Select Pucallpa:

    • Children of 0 to 7 years of age will not be charged.
    • Children of 8 to 12 years of age will be charged the children’s rate: US$4.88
    • Children 13 and older will be charged the adult rate: US$9.76
    • * Prices do not include sales taxes (18%) or services charges (10%).
  • The buffet breakfast included per room is considered for two people, including adults or children. If an additional child is staying in the room, the buffet breakfast will be charged according to the child’s age.
  • Casa Andina has cots and/or sets of “pack & play” for free in all units (subject to availability). Check when checking-in.
  • It is only possible to place extra beds in some of the rooms at certain Casa Andina hotels. Prior coordination is required and an additional charge will be charged.
  • It is not possible to join the beds together in the rooms.
  • The rooms and common areas, in some units, have access facilities and conditions for people with special needs.
  • Should the situation arise – a situation due to force majeure or it being a fortuitous case – that Casa Andina is not able to comply with Customer’s accommodation, it is committed to provide a solution by offering accommodation in one of its hotels closest or another similar hotel nearby or a hotel of higher category.
  • Pets are not allowed or Customer’s may not enter the hotels with animals. Only duly certified service animals are allowed to enter the hotels. This needs to be coordinated with the hotel at least one week before Customer’s arrival.
  • According to the Peruvian General Law for the Prevention and Control of Tobacco Use Risks, Law Number 29517, smoking is prohibited in the rooms. In the event of a breach by a guest of what is specified in this paragraph, a penalty of US$250.00 per day shall be applied to this guest.
  • All hotels have free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms. Should a Customer require High Speed Wi-Fi, an additional cost will be charged.
  • Casa Andina Standard Colca only has free Wi-Fi in the reception area, restaurant, and bar.
  • Not all of Casa Andina’s hotels have parking facilities within the hotel. Therefore, Casa Andina does not guarantee space for any passenger. (Space is subject to availability upon arrival). In case parking availability is confirmed, no cost will be charged.
  • Casa Andina does not offer tours, but it can contact Customers with a local operator.
  • The hotel is not responsible for the loss of money, jewelry and/or other valuables left in the room. Casa Andina requests its guests to leave the doors of their rooms properly locked, as well as to use the safes that are in their rooms or to declare these valuables and leave them in custody at the hotel reception desk. The availability of a safe deposit box at the reception desk may vary according to the hotel.
  • All personal belongings forgotten by our guests will be kept in safekeeping at the hotel for 90 calendar days. After this deadline, the hotel will dispose of them.
  • In order to provide a comfortable stay to all of Casa Andina’s guests, quiet time is between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m.
  • Any person not registered in the hotel is prohibited to enter the rooms.
  • An uncorking fee will apply in case Customers want to consume alcoholic beverages purchased outside the hotel.
  • Casa Andina is against trafficking of archeological pieces belonging to Peru’s cultural heritage.
  • Casa Andina is against the trafficking of protected species.
  • Possession and use of hallucinogenic drugs is prohibited within hotel premises.
  • Exploitation and sexual abuse of minors are criminally and civilly punished according to Peruvian legal provisions in force.
  • If Customers wish to extend their stay, they are kindly requested to inform the Reception Desk of the hotel at least 24 hours before their departure date. The extension will depend on the availability of rooms.
